Komodo National Park, Best place for Diving and Komodo Dragon

It is quiet sometime ago since I wrote my last travel sharing here. Well, I was out of connection from this lovely Internet world and being on the road for sometime, anyway, it shouldn’t be an excuse. Here you go my travel  tips for Komodo National Park (KNP). This KNP is located at the east part of Indonesia, a group of some beautiful islands with some spectacular diving spots. I ve got the chances to visit at least 10 islands between Lombok and Flores also snorkeling and diving as well.

How to get to Komodo National Park ???

The best way to get to KNP is flying from Bali to Labuhan Bajo. There are some direct flights from Denpasar to Labuhan Bajo in Flores. My trip for KNP was part of my big trip from Bali, Gili, and Lombok, Sumbawa and Flores. On the way go, I join the boat trip from Perama boat, hop on hop off from one island to another and then flew back to Bali from Labuhan Bajo. If you dont have plenty of time you can do it with just flying both direction. To get around in Labuhan Bajo, it is very easy as you can take the public transport mikrolet, or rent the whole mikrolet to send you to any destination in the city.

Visiting KNP means enjoy the glorious tropical islands, turquoise crystal water, seeing the giant lizard, Komodo. Komodo dragon can be visited with the boat that you rent from Flores mainland, it will take you around 2 hours to get there. Beside visiting the Komodo Dragon, you can also do the island hopping. It is very beautiful, visiting Maya beach and Red beach for snorkeling was very pleasant and sooo beautiful. One of the day during my visit in this national park, I did 2 dives, Manta Point and and island that I forgot the name. In Manta point we saw several big-giant Manta that keep me speechless, they are very massive and pretty. And the tiny lil island that we dived. it was one of the best garden that I saw in my life. I love it sooo much.
